"Daddy, who-- Wally!!" Midori's voice is a little bit muffled because she's clearly been crying, but her squeal of joy is entirely honest and she knocks an end table over in her haste to reach her boyfriend and just... cling to him.
"I knew you'd come! I'm so, so, so sorry I couldn't call, Daddy took my phone and my laptop and-and-and!!" And she suddenly bursts into tears, hiding her face in Wally's shoulder. Her father stands by awkwardly, not sure what to say.
